All connections between electronic components of the robotic car are the same as in the previous design. What changes is the program code for the RF receiver – the block diagram is shown in Fig.24.

In order to communicate with each other, the RF transmitter and receiver must belong to the same group. In both RF transmitter and receiver code, that is implemented by the following statement (Fig.25).

In our case, the group is assigned 1 (the same is present in the program code for the RF transmitter). We also declare two variables, duty and CMD. The duty variable holds the value of the duty cycle of the PWM signals on pins P0 and P1. The CMD variable is assigned the value of a command received by the RF receiver from the transmitter. The value of CMD will be interpreted by the program code as is shown in the table below.
